About the series
In the mining settlement of Kamenka, Fyodor and Maria Gromov raise four children — Sasha, Sava, Nastya and Nikitka — through the ordinary run of a family's daily concerns and small triumphs, close enough that their neighbours take notice. When Fyodor dies, Maria and the children must find a new footing and a new life elsewhere. Released in Russian as Громовы.
